Feb 03, 2019: Sanyasa Sangama 2019

Sanyasa Sangama 2019 – the gathering of all the Consecrated of the Bangalore CRI was held on Feb 03, 2019 at Christ University, Bengaluru.

This annual meet witnessed the coming together of nearly 1000 consecrated from across the Archdiocese. It was a great time of joy and fellowship. The Holy Eucharist was celebrated by Fr Jose Vettiyankal VC. In his address, he invited all the consecrated to examine their life as a “disciple of Christ” giving various pointers for reflection.

Rt Rev Peter Machado, the Archbishop of the Diocese addressed the gathering and inspired with his clarion call to reach out to the poor and the needy. Mr Prakash Rai, the guest of honour, with his eloquent speech mesmerized the gathering by his speech invoking all to be more conscious of their duties towards the state and the nation. Fr Edward Thomas, the President of the Bangalore CRI, Mrs Sameera and Mr Jacob were among the other speakers. The occasion also saw some of the beneficiaries of our ministries- those in prison, those among the orphans and those among the transgender – sharing their experience and the touch they received.
